The Salt Company Staff
Jordan Adams is originally a small town kid and he never wants to leave the midwest. Growing up, he lived to be outside, ideally doing something athletic. He still loves to golf whenever he can. In college, he got involved in The Salt Company and it was there that he came to understand the depth of what it means to know Jesus. He was a student leader in Salt Company and later joined Salt Company staff. In 2015, Jordan earned his masters of Arts and Theological studies and finished his degree with a study trip in Greece and Turkey. Few things make Jordan happier than exploring Istanbul, Turkey, one of his favorite cities. A good day for him involves home-roasting coffee, reading a biography, and going out to eat. Preferably it would be sushi or a random hole-in-the-wall burger or BBQ place.
He and his wife, Jessamy, moved to Minneapolis in May of 2017 to help start the Salt Company at the U of M. They love this city, especially the lakes, and can’t wait to be a part of what God will do with college students in the Twin Cities. Jordan’s life passion is helping people step away from guilt and into a life of consistently enjoying Jesus.
Kaylee grew up in Northeast Iowa and although grew up in the church, it wasn’t until she was 17 at a summer camp that Kaylee realized that she was a sinner in need of a Savior. Part of what drew her to come to Iowa State University was the opportunity to be a part of The Salt Company. Through her time at college, she learned how to walk with Jesus in a community of believers and experienced the beauty of authenticity. After college, Kaylee got married to Dave and jumped on staff with The Salt Company. The Huntings have enjoyed investing in college students over the course of their 3 years of marriage. After finishing her Masters of Arts in Theological Studies, Kaylee & Dave moved up to Minneapolis to help start Salt City Church. They are so excited to be a part of this church plant!
These are the essential things you need to know about Kaylee: she is always up for a bowl of ice cream! Kaylee feels most at rest when she’s sleeping in a tent - she and Dave just recently backpacked the Grand Canyon and part of the Superior Hiking Trail. Kaylee enjoys trying new recipes to share with friends and enjoys getting to know people through asking questions.
Isaac doesn't like writing his own bio segments, but is willing to do anything for the sake of the gospel, so here we are... Isaac grew up on a farm outside a small town in Southwest Iowa. He first became involved with Salt Company his freshman year at Iowa State where he heard the gospel presented in a clear and compelling way. It was the first time he got to live in community with people confessing sin and choosing to pursue obedience to Jesus in response to the gospel message. After graduating college, Isaac moved to Iowa City where he married his wife, Abby, (who is way cooler than him) and lead worship at Veritas Church. Isaac moved to Minneapolis to be the Worship Pastor at Salt City Church and is pumped that hanging out with college students is part of his job.
When he's not playing music, you can find Isaac climbing at the bouldering gym or going thrifting with his wife (who, again, is way cooler than him). He loves air conditioning on a hot day and going to concerts. He can't wait to see who God raises up as the next worship leaders for Salt Company and Salt City Church!
